Sorry it has been so long since I've posted a Blog. I've been ill. In September, I was rushed into hospital & spent 8 days there, and let me say, it was no fun!! My Graves Disease went out of remission, which made me very ill indeed!! (I lost 32kg in 11 weeks, which caused muscle and joint damage, hence the walking stick).
After waiting 5 months on the surgical waiting list, on 2nd Feb. I had my thyroid removed. Yayyyy!! Now I feel fantastic!! All the drs reports are fantastic, and I was even allowed to remove the surgical tape from my neck about 5 weeks early.

My Fantastic Birthday
Today was my 51st Birthday!!
Hubby gave me money to get my hair done, and here is the result:
My darling 23 yr old son, Ben made me the best Beef Rogan Josh with Rice for dinner
and a Devil's Food Cake with Chocolate Frosting and 'Happy Birthday' out of Banana Slices. yummo:
All in all it's been a great day. I've never had so many birthday wishes EVER!!

Early Birthday
Today I get to celebrate my Birthday 2 days early.

Little Miss Innocent!!
Meet 'Little Miss Innocent':
Her name is Allie and she is an 8 1/2 yr old Labrador Cross.
When I went for a nap, I had accidentally left the remnants of my lunch in a bowl on the arm of the lounge.
I got up, and you guessed it noo food left in bowl:
Allie must have jumped up on the lounge, eaten the food, licked the bowl clean, and jumped back down. LOL
When I got up from my nap and saw the empty bowl, I had to laugh!!
When I said to her: 'Allie, did you eat the food in the bowl?' she looked at me, bowed her head and ran from the room!! LOL
As I said: 'Little Miss Innocent'!!

Birthday

Noise, Noise & More Noise!!
It doesn't rain but it pours in my street.
They start doing roadworks in the street.... Then they disappear.
Then.... The roofers arrive to replace the roof.
Guess who came back today? Yes you guessed it.... The roadworks started up again.
It's utter bedlam. LOL
Trucks everywhere all vying for space in a street that doesn't have a lot of room to begin with.
Oh, well hopefully they will all disappear soon.
Oh Lord, please, please keep me sane!! AARRGGHH!! LOL
