Little Miss Innocent!!

Meet 'Little Miss Innocent':





Her name is Allie and she is an 8 1/2 yr old Labrador Cross.
When I went for a nap, I had accidentally left the remnants of my lunch in a bowl on the arm of the lounge.
I got up, and you guessed it noo food left in bowl:






Allie must have jumped up on the lounge, eaten the food, licked the bowl clean, and jumped back down. LOL

When I got up from my nap and saw the empty bowl, I had to laugh!!

When I said to her: 'Allie, did you eat the food in the bowl?' she looked at me, bowed her head and ran from the room!! LOL

As I said: 'Little Miss Innocent'!!

Birthday

Another year older, in 11 days aaaagggghh!! 51 this year. Oh well, at least I'm not as old as my sister, Linda!! (she's 14 months older) haha

All Done!!

Yayyyy!! Roof is done & roadwork done!! It's soooo quiet. LOL

Noise, Noise & More Noise!!

It doesn't rain but it pours in my street.
They start doing roadworks in the street.... Then they disappear.
Then.... The roofers arrive to replace the roof.
Guess who came back today? Yes you guessed it.... The roadworks started up again.
It's utter bedlam. LOL
Trucks everywhere all vying for space in a street that doesn't have a lot of room to begin with.
Oh, well hopefully they will all disappear soon.

Oh Lord, please, please keep me sane!! AARRGGHH!! LOL

Getting Older

It's funny as we get older how many things start to go wrong with our health. I've had osteo-arthritis since the age of 16 ( I'm now nearly 51). It started in my knees and ankles, then a few years later my hands. Even more years later my back. Then my jaw. Now my hips. LOL.

The way I look at it, if I don't laugh about it, then I'll start crying. But the good news is: at least I have both hands and both legs and my mind. So as far as I am concerned, I have nothing whatsoever to complain about. Do I?

Kids

When one's 21 yr old son phones you at 9pm and says: 'Muuuuuuuuuuuuum, watcha doin' you know somethings wrong LOL

he had slipped on some water at work and cut his head open!! (he's a Personal Trainer)
soooooooooo.... 3hrs, 2 stitches and a slight concussion (plus a visit to the emergency ward at the local hospital) all was well

he has this thing about his looks and scars so he's not happy LOL

Oh well, thems the breaks I suppose!!
I must be mean, I just think it's so funny (if there's a puddle or a hole he'll fall into it!!)
